The equine studies minor allows you to supplement your major with a basic foundation of equine science along with opportunities to conduct research at the University Farm, participate in internships within the equine industry, and get involved with student Whether you’re preparing for vet school, want to master your competitive riding skills, or simply enjoy riding, you can customize the classes to fit your interests and goals. You can also gain hands-on experience at the University Farm which has indoor and outdoor riding arenas as well as 40 horses used for teaching horsemanship, training classes, a breeding program, and other equine classes.
