There are traditional Art Studios for the areas of Ceramics, Fibers, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, and Sculpture.

  • We have 20 state-of-the-art iMac workstations to support Studio Art and Design in OP1250/1210 and 6 Mac Pro towers for high-end 3D modeling, video and animation processing in OP1224. These labs are equipped with scanners, laser printers, and graphic tablets which are utilized by both studio art and design concentration students.
  • The Design program now expects students to have their own computer hardware and software (Adobe Creative Cloud) to be majors in Design.
  • The Art Department uses professional-grade graphic, page layout, and image editing programs: Adobe™ InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, AfterEffects, Dreamweaver, Animate, and Premiere.
  • The Design program also has a traditional media space for traditional design production and illustration processes such as watercolor, gouache, and line art.

The Department of Art + Design + Art History houses the University Art Gallery, where professional and student exhibitions occur throughout the year.
