Out-of-State TruMerit, Non-Resident Tuition Waiver, Non-Resident Tuition Grant and MSEP are designed to assist the out-of-state portion of tuition and cannot be combined. Students eligible for multiple awards designed to assist with the out-of-state portion of tuition will receive the award of the greatest value. If awarded a tuition grant, other scholarships in your award package will be updated to reflect consideration as an in-state student.
Test Scores & GPA
Automatic scholarships are awarded based upon your cumulative GPA and college entrance exam scores (ACT or SAT) at the time of application. There is no need to make any special requests — when your GPA and ACT or SAT scores meet the award threshold, the Admission Office will automatically award these scholarships upon acceptance.
More Automatic Awards & Info
The best parts about scholarships? Many automatic scholarships and most competitive scholarships can be stacked and renewed. As a Truman student, you will simply need to meet the Scholarship Renewal Guidelines. Candidates may receive multiple automatic and/or competitive awards. Some larger awards may replace, or supersede, other awards. Scholarships are primarily intended to assist with the direct cost of tuition. Truman-funded scholarships apply only to tuition and on-campus room and meal plans; they do not apply to fees.
