Where are they now?

What do our history graduates do after leaving Truman? Here is a partial listing. Please send additions, corrections, and updates to history@truman.edu.

2021-2025

Richard Ables (2022) will be attending law school starting in the fall of 2022.

Eli Avery (2021) will be pursuing a graduate degree in history at Wheaton University in Chicago.

Elias Burrough (2022) plans to attend law school beginning in fall 2023.

Devin Chau (2022) is working and saving for law school.

Emma Christensen (2022) will be working with the Appalachia Service Project as Director of their Summer and then as a Fellow  until May 2023.

Donald (Levi) Cullifer (2021) is pursuing an MA in Museum Studies, Cultural Heritage, and Public History at UMSL.

Amanda Denno (2022) works as a museum guide at the Magic House Children’s Museum in St. Louis and hopes to work in the national or state parks as an interpretive park ranger.

Syrus Duffy (2021) will be pursuing a PhD in Education Policy at Michigan State University.

Shannon Fetzner (2021) is enrolled in Truman’s MAE program in Social Studies. Once she completes the program in 2022, she plans to teach social studies in a public school at the middle- or high-school level.

Jacob Gronemyer (2021) is enrolled in Truman’s MAE program in Social Studies. Once he completes the program in 2022, he hopes to teach social studies in a public school in or around St. Louis.

Angeline Hansen (2021) is enrolled in Truman’s MAE program in Social Studies. Once she completes the program in 2022, she plans to teach social studies in a public school at the middle- or high-school level.

Eric Leimer (2022) will be attending the Museum Studies Graduate Program at the University of Kansas.

Lauren McCollum (2022) is working and saving to attend graduate school.

Michael Meyers (2021) is enrolled in Truman’s MAE program in Social Studies.

Alexandra Miller (2021) is enrolling in an MA in Public History at the University of South Carolina. She has received a tuition waiver and graduate assistantship for both years of the program.

Franklin Morris (2022) is planning to enroll in Truman’s MAE program.

Nick Pruett (2021) plans to attend graduate school in archival research and museum studies.

Tessa Sottile (2021) is attending Washington University St. Louis Brown School to pursue a dual degree in Social Work and Social Policy.

Travis Stahlman (2021) is enrolled in Truman’s MAE program in Social Studies. Once he completes the program in 2022, he plans to teach social studies in a public school at the high-school level.

Nora Vegiard (2021) has a summer internship at the State Library Reference Services and Library Development divisions and plans to obtain a graduate degree in library sciences.

Serena Venezia (2021) is enrolled in Truman’s MAE program in Social Studies. Once she completes the program in 2022, she plans to teach social studies in a public school at the middle- or high-school level.

Dominic Vitale (2022) is an event coordinator in Stockholm, Sweden.

Clayton Watts (2021) received a scholarship to attend law school at the University of Missouri, Columbia.
